What are BCAAs?
BCAA stands for “branched-chain amino acid“. There are three specific essential amino acids: Leucine, Isoleucine & Valine.
Essential amino acids cannot be produced by the body, that is why they need to come from our nutrition.
Most amino acids first need to be processed by the liver before they are transported to our muscles through the bloodstream. BCAAs, however, can be directly absorbed by our muscles and are converted directly into energy by our bodies.
How do BCAAs work?
BCAAs help build and maintain muscle, and also prevent muscle loss – even when you are on a diet. They are not only beneficial for competitive athletes and bodybuilders, but for all other athletes as well.

On training days, consume 1 scoop during exercise and/or 1 scoop after exercise. On non-training days, consume 1-2 scoops throughout the day.
High BCAA Level: Mix 1 scoop (5 g) with 400 ml (12-14 oz) of cold water in a shaker. Adjust water for taste preference.
Intense BCAA Level: Mix 2 scoops (10 g) with 800 ml (24-28 oz) of cold water in a shaker. Adjust water for taste preference.
