What are the benefits?
We understand the importance of supporting your body with high-quality supplements to achieve your fitness goals. That's why we offer our L-Glutamine, designed to provide you with the best possible support for your muscles and gut health.
After high-intensity workouts, the body's glutamine levels are depleted, which can impair both energy regeneration and muscle growth. It can take up to a week for your glutamine levels to return to their normal levels, which is why supplementing with L-Glutamine can be so beneficial.
In addition to supporting muscle growth, L-Glutamine is also essential for maintaining a healthy gut. As the body's first line of defense against harmful substances, the gut needs a strong defensive barrier to function properly. L-Glutamine helps to strengthen this barrier, which is especially important given that 40% of the body's glutamine consumption occurs in the gut.
Our L-Glutamine is designed to give your body the support it needs to perform at its best, both in and out of the gym.
How do I take it?
Add 1 heaped scoop (5 g) of Women’s Best L-Glutamine powder to a shaker or glass filled with 250–350ml of your preferred drink, such as fruit juice or coffee, and mix for 10 seconds.
For an extra boost:
Mix 1 heaped scoop of L-Glutamine powder into your Women’s Best BCAA, Amino & Energy, Protein Shake or Weight Gainer Shake.
For optimal results:
On training days: take 1 dose of prepared L-Glutamine as described 15–30 minutes after your workout.
On non-training days: take 1 dose of prepared L-Glutamine before breakfast, lunch or dinner.
L-Glutamine is a vital amino acid that performs a variety of metabolic functions and is found in large quantities in the muscles. After high-intensity workouts, your body’s glutamine levels can be depleted, which can impact your energy regeneration and muscle growth. L-Glutamine is also crucial for maintaining a healthy intestinal barrier, as it helps defend against harmful substances. With around 40% of the body’s glutamine consumption taking place in the gut, L-Glutamine is essential for the intestinal epithelium.
