What are the benefits?
Our goal in developing the Women’s Best Myo & D-Chiro Inositol Capsules was to combine two biologically active forms of inositol in a scientifically backed 3.6:1 ratio. This ratio reflects the natural balance of Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol in the body, and has been associated in numerous studies with positive effects on hormonal balance, ovarian function, cycle regulation, metabolism, and mood.
Inositols are vitamin B-like compounds that act as important signaling molecules in the body. They play a key role in the communication of various hormones, including insulin, thyroid hormones, and those involved in the menstrual cycle and fertility.
We combine Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol because these forms serve distinct but complementary functions in the body. Myo-Inositol supports follicle maturation in the ovaries and cellular signaling, while D-Chiro-Inositol is primarily involved in insulin signaling pathways and glucose metabolism. Alongside the commonly studied 40:1 ratio, the 3.6:1 ratio has also been shown to effectively support the body’s natural balance of these two forms.
Inositol has been extensively studied over recent decades, with particularly well-documented potential benefits in:
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Insulin resistance and impaired glucose metabolism
- Metabolic disorders
- Depression and anxiety disorders
- Mental health and mood
One of its most important applications is in supporting women with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). PCOS is the most common hormonal disorder in women of reproductive age, and is often associated with irregular cycles, elevated androgen levels, insulin resistance, and fertility challenges. Studies suggest that Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol can specifically help support these symptoms.
Beyond this, as a vitamin-like compound, inositol may also support mental well-being, including in cases of depression, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. It is involved in pathways that regulate serotonin and dopamine (key neurotransmitters that influence mood), which is why its effects on anxiety and depression are increasingly being researched.
Our Women’s Best Myo & D-Chiro Inositol Capsules are therefore ideal for women with PCOS, irregular cycles, hormonal fluctuations, or hormonally related skin concerns. At the same time, they can support metabolism and insulin sensitivity. By combining both forms of inositol in a clinically supported 3.6:1 ratio, they help bring your hormonal balance back into alignment, so you can feel yourself again.

Clinically studied 3.6:1 ratio.
Myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol occur in different ratios in the body depending on the tissue. Our Women’s Best Myo & D-Chiro Inositol Capsules contain a clinically studied 3.6:1 ratio that has been used in studies in connection with female metabolism and fertility.
Myo- and D-chiro-inositol complement each other perfectly: Myo-inositol supports follicle maturation and plays an important role in cellular signaling, while D-chiro-inositol is specifically involved in insulin signaling pathways and glucose metabolism. Together, they contribute to normal insulin signaling and hormonal balance.

100% innovative.
Extensively studied in PCOS and hormonal disorders.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common hormonal disorder in women of reproductive age and is often associated with irregular cycles, elevated androgen levels, insulin resistance, and fertility issues.
Studies show that inositol can target these symptoms in PCOS: it supports cycle regularity, promotes ovulation, and helps restore metabolic and hormonal balance – delivering measurable benefits in cycle regulation, body weight, blood sugar levels, and androgen levels.

Insulin resistance: widespread and often unnoticed.
Insulin resistance is more common than you might think and doesn’t only affect those who are overweight. Crucially, if left untreated, it can lead to diabetes and other metabolic disorders over time.
The combination of Myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol supports insulin signaling in the cells, helping the body become more responsive to the hormone again. Studies show that inositol can measurably reduce fasting insulin levels as well as key markers of insulin resistance.

Natural support for the menstrual cycle and fertility.
Myo-inositol naturally occurs in the follicular environment of the ovaries and plays a role in egg maturation. Studies show that supplementation in women with PCOS can promote ovulation and positively influence hormonal metabolism, which are both key factors when trying to conceive.
In a clinical study involving over 3,600 women with PCOS, 70% of participants experienced ovulation again after 8 to 12 weeks of taking 2,000 mg of Myo-inositol and 200 µg of folic acid daily; a total of 545 pregnancies were recorded. At the same time, hormone levels moved closer to the normal range: testosterone levels decreased significantly, while progesterone levels increased substantially.

For mood, anxiety, and mental well-being.
Inositol supports the balance of key neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine, which influence mood, emotional balance, and overall mental stability. Since individuals with depression, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive disorders often show lower inositol levels in the brain, targeted supplementation may help address this imbalance. Clinical studies also show that inositol can help reduce anxiety and inner restlessness, as well as noticeably decrease the frequency and intensity of panic attacks.
